I have been propagating some jade and I originally had these 2 leaves in soil. They started having new growth and the original leaves were getting shriveled but there was no root growth. I moved them to water and there continues to be new growth, the original leaves a plump again, but there’s still basically no root growth! What do I do? Now that the host leaves are full again should I try to move them to soil? It’s probably been 2+ months at this point! The other jade pieces are rooting just fine… the leaves just don’t want to 🤷‍♀️

Hi! This is my lemon-lime heartleaf philodendron, which I propagated on October 2nd. Lately, I have noticed the leaves are starting to turn brown. I am still new to propagating and not sure what is going wrong. I would really appreciate any advice or tips on how to help her thrive!

I’ve had these pothos propagating in water for a couple of months now and they’ve both grown one singular root that’s really long. Is that a water root or can I pot these?

I have a very stringy, and small leafed Swiss cheese vine (adansonii). It was gifted to me this way. I love its character but I know the leaves can get much bigger and I’d like to see it get fuller and climb as well. Any tips on exactly how I should repot and propagate this beautiful plant?

These seeds from my Curly Sue Cactus germinated in about 4 days. I put them on a moist paper towel inside a sealed one gallon Ziploc bag to retain moisture. They are ready for starter pots. The black on the paper towel is from leftover bits of soil in the drainage tray that stained the towel. 🪴🍀

This plant had some full seed pods when I got it. I'm good with the extraction (dry, soak, dry, dry), decent with the potting (coir, perlite, vermiculite on top), but the 3-month mark is where I fail at seedlings. Let's see what happens cuz this would be a nice, niche win. Pictured also is my first Gibbaeum dispar. Note how compact it turned - the base is pretty much a mini tree trunk.

My kalanchoe is growing roots way up on the stem randomly. Is it trying to tell me it wants to be cut and replanted at those areas? I had it in the dark for a few days (trying to get it to bloom) then this happened lol

For about a month I’ve been propagating my alocasia frydek corms and it’s looking great! So much growth, especially these last few days, the stems are getting close to the top. Anyone can help out…. how long should I let the roots be before I put it in soil? Or is there another/better technique to let this grow?

I have this White Wizard Philodendron propagation. It has an air root but no roots at the bottom yet. Does anyone know if I should go ahead and plant it or wait for roots to sprout in the water?

Ethics check!!! I was at the grocery store (large chain) and there was a pretty decent sized succulent that had broken off from its base. I debated putting it in my purse bc I know it will just get thrown away but then I got self conscious because it’s right by the entrance door and cameras….. stealing or saving?!?

This (corn?) plant loves this spot and has grown so quickly that it is now officially touching my ceiling 😳 does anybody know if I’m able to propagate it and if so, how? Or any other suggestions that would allow me to keep the plant here other than cutting a hole in my ceiling 😅 TIA!
