iâve heard different opinions, so iâm curious for people to weigh in â if youâre propping something leafy (not a succulent) do you prefer to let it callous before sticking it in water or just put it in right away?

Found part of my pine cone cactus on the floor. Not sure if it was dead and fell over or if the cat got to it. Any way to propagate?

hi friends:) iâm wondering if this micans philodendron prop is ready for soil. iâve had it in water for over a month and it doesnât seem to be wanting to grow any more..is there anything iâm doing wrong?? i have another prop thatâs only slightly younger and its roots have yet to come. picture isnât the best but roots are about an inch long maybe a bit smaller. i know its recommended to wait till there about 3 inches long but they havenât grown in a while. thank you!

am I doing this right? been propagating this monstera cutting for about 2 weeks in moss/perlite. itâs growing some roots but only off of one aerial root?

Water propagating my monstera albo and these have come up on one of my cuttings - is this normal, are these new root shoots? Or is it bad, kind of looks a bit like mould? Itâs still shooting the bud out as you can see just no secondary rootsâŠ

Hello all! I got these cucumber sprouts from a friend and have had them growing inside for about a month. They were doing really well until I put them outsideâŠ.some leaves are now turning white. Is this sunburn? Iâve heard of acclimating them before putting them outside full timeâŠ..I did not do that. Is it too late to do that now? Theyâve been outside now for about a week.

Wanted to share this tip that I did a little experiment with. Someone said a drop or two of peroxide into your propagation jar helps keep algae from growing. Well sure enough it works!

Iâve had these heartleaf philodendron in water for over a month and iâm not seeing any roots. I have them under a grow light and I change the water (filtered) weekly. Anyone know what the problem could be? Am I just being impatient? I was under the impression theyâre supposed to root up pretty quickly.

Had this monstera cutting since December, i moved it to a smaller jar since it was getting root rot when it was too submerged in water, now shes got i would say a decent amount of roots and i feel like shes ready to be moved, is it better to move to leca or soil?? and how do i not shock her since shes been only living off water and fertilizer and zero substrateđđŒđ©ș halp!
