My first attempt at propagation and the echeveria and burro’s tail leaves are finally starting to sprout. Do I leave them on the soil like this - or do something to help them root and grow? TIA

snagged a few fallen leaves at a plant store today- i need help figuring out how to propagate them! there are 2 string of turtles stems, and a begonia leaf that unfortunately broke in my pocket. how should i get them to root (if possible)? thanks in advance!

Can this plant be propagated? I’ve tried to propagate, but the cutting just withered. I don’t want to keep cutting if it won’t do anything. Any suggestions on the best way for this plant?

I didn't pay close enough attention in the past few days, but my prop water grew algae and it is all over the roots (I was going to pot up this weekend). I moved them to clean water, but how do I remove the algae before potting? Thanks!

My string of turtles started doing poorly and in an effort to repot, a lot of it fell apart. I ended up put the strands on a tray inside a plastic bag and some in a small pot with a dome lid. Both seem to be thriving in the greenhouse set up. Any tips on how to move them into a set up where they can hang and not be trapped in a ziploc??

I recently bought Haworthia seeds on Etsy. I did get some that were from variegated parents but I have a sprout that I need help identifying. Is this albino, is this variegated? What’s up with this lil guy? Thanks

Hi, I have a very tall Dracaena Lemon Surprise that is very healthy on the top but his lower leaves are dying. Is it possible to cut his top off and propagate it to save him? Thank you!

I almost never cut my plants, but my raindrop peperomia was getting really leggy and could only ever seem to keep 3 leaves at a time, so I lopped it in half about a month ago and both plants are now flourishing!

I am kind of new to plants and am very scared of pruning 😅 I watched a LOT of videos before deciding to prune my baby rubber plant (Claire is her name). It was growing a long thin stem and I wanted it to be bushier and heavier so hopefully the pruning and propagating will help. I hope I did this right, I cut right above a leaf and I now have 2 stems and 2 leaves in water and the main plant has 3 leaves left.

Did I do this right? I had more propagation cutting of this v.SOH but it all rotted in water so I put what I had left in this small 2” terracotta pot. I had it wet and put it inside the jar. Today I checked on it and even more was rotted. Just repotted it all with new dry soil, got the pot wet with a damp paper towel, then I let droplets of water off my fingertips water it. I didn’t mist any water inside the jar, but all what I said I did. I then just put it back inside the jar. It’s underneath my grow light that’s only about 6-8” away from the pot.

I need to cold stratify some seeds but I'm worried because last time I tried, the seeds got moldy. Any tips?

I am currently propagating several plants. Something I have never done before. I have a piece of Rubber Plant that I have in water and I was told to leave it there for a while, changing the water weekly. A Nanouk that is doing very well with very little effort. I have another Snake plant so I am treating the baby the same way - I accidentally dropped this one and broke one stem and another curled up. Finally, I have a Philodendron that I am crossing my fingers and hoping it survives.

I just detached some aloe pups from their parents and would like to know whether I should propogate in water first until I see roots or put directly in soil after they callus?
