Hi everyone! I am totally new with plants and could really use some advice. I was given a Croton (I think that’s what my friend said and she promptly went on vacation, LOL). One of my dogs ran through it and this ‘branch’ broke. Will this grow if I put it in water? Do I put anything in the water? I hate for it to die if it doesn’t have too. I would welcome any advice. Seriously, talk to me like I’m 5. LOL!

I was gifted with these begonias and I've never propagated them. When do I put them in soil? I can see some nodes with roots, and some new leaves, but I have no idea what the White blobs are or what to do next. Thanks Planta Pals!

Day one of a new round of propagating my golden pothos

Hi all! I just got this purple waffle plant, and I noticed it has some aerial roots. I’m assuming I can stick it in water and propagate it… has anyone here done it before? *Update* I’m going for it! I’ve got the cutting in a jar of water in a South facing window. 🤞

Wondering if this is a specific type of echeveria? Also wondering what the best method for propagating her is because I've seen a few that look like they might work better than others.

How can I trim down my rubber tree that touches the ceiling and also the leaves from the top have fallen off I don’t know if its been so hot here in SW FL I have kept it dark to keep it cooler or something else please help!

I’m finally growing chia seeds! I’m actually away this n vacay and found chia seeds in the freezer and said eh why not! It’s either day 2, 3, or 4 and they have grown like crazy (or one of them has, my other group hasn’t!). The lid goes to a container that I am using to carry seeds I collected! They kinda look like noodles lol

My first time owning a Callisia Fragrans (Basket Plant). It arrived bare root with babies hanging from four thick vines like a spider plant. One broke during unpacking and is propagating in water. What’s the easiest way to propagate?! I want to plant all of them into one pot and let the vines dangle.

Has anyone successfully propagated their money tree? I’ve watched YouTube videos about the process, read about it, bought root stimulator, etc. and it’s never worked for me. Next time I prune mine I want to try again and would love some advice. TY in advance!
