I’ve been propagating the spider plants for a while now and I tried potting them but they started dying so I put them back in water. What should I do at this point?

I found my spider plant babies root faster in soil than water. Rooting hormone powder helps. But, it’s not necessary. They like bright indirect sun and good drainage.

I try to keep the soil around them a lil moist for the first week or so once I add them to a pot
2 J'aimeIf I’m having trouble I mix a bit of soil in with water and add more over time. I’ve done it a few times with my props, I guess it gets them used to all the nutrients without making the little plants go into shock
1 j'aimeMake sure you’re using a smaller pot when first putting in soil. If it’s too big it won’t do well. I also second what Sunny said in that sometimes they go through shock so don’t panic too fast.
