I propagated these Ficus cuttings at the same time. They’ve been in the same condition; getting the same water and being in the same light. Why is one rooting and the other isnt???? The cutting without roots is doing fine, but wont grow. Theres tiiiiny little roots that have been at the same stage of growth for weeks while the other cutting is putting out. Should i just toss the one that isnt sprouting roots?

if it's not dying, it's doing something! give it time. each new leaf has it's own genetics, which are crossed as the stem grows. no two cuttings are the same, even from the exact same mother plant.

personallyyyyyyy if its not propping very quickly i will take a leaf off. it may be prioritizing the leaves over roots. other than that changing the water every other day is a must

I swear by propagation drops. They make roots grow in just days instead of weeks. You can buy on Amazon
