I have just started propagating myself, some plants like mint and basil do wonderful while lavender and rosemary have been a bit harder but I have had good success putting them in a seedling tray filled 1/3 of the way with water. You’ll always be able to pull the plant up and check root development and can transplant in 4 days usually. If your putting them in pots I would make sure the stems are dry stick them in some root stimulating powder, use appropriate potting medium, and water. Gl

in my experience especially when they're young they like to be crowded & compete for sunlight. the first year i prop'd i separated them and those babies are still barely nearing 2" tall. ever since ive made sure to keep them a little crowded when the pups (baby succulents) start developing & those ones are already way more full and growing faster. also definitely look up if any of them are slow growers bc for example i didnt realize how slow jade can be to grow into a hearty little plant from leaves but their stem cuttings grow much faster.

A product called Prop Drops are amazing! I use them with every propagation and my props grow some great roots! I won’t prop without it.
