What is the best way to propagate this spider plant, my friend gave me cuttings in a pot ( i think she didnt have anywhere else to put it) but should i leave it in soil or pot it in water?? TIA! :)

    Keep in water until roots are about 2-3 inches in length; then pot into soil.

    i propagate spider plants directly into soil all the time so i would say these guys should be just fine as long as the pot has drainage. water when the top inch of soil is dry for the first month or so, then back off to watering when about half the soil is dry, and once it’s an established plant (after about 3-4 months in the pot) the soil should be totally dry before you water

      I potted mine in soil in a tiny plastic pot and mine rooted within a few months and just outgrew it.

    soil roots will take longer, but will be stronger. water will grow faster, but will take time adjust to the soil
