I picked up some blue chalk stick leaves that had fallen off a plant at work. I was wondering if I’d be able to propagate viable plants from these… would love to try. Any tips on how to successfully prop them I’d love to hear!!

0 likesGet some gritty substrate and a small/shallow pot (terracotta or clear plastic is my preference). Soak and ring out some spghagnum moss and put a thin layer down. You’ll want to mist every couple of days to keep the moss moist. Put in bright but perhaps indirect light. Add a humidity dome if you’d like (helps accelerate rooting). Then wait. Mist. And wait some more. Patience is key; it will take a few months. After much trial and error I’ve found this the most successful method yet. Good luck!
