What’s your fav way to prop a njoy ? I popped her in some water but no roots have taken and it looked like one end was starting to get soggy. The leaves are feeling more limp now, I just want to save this clipping ! 😅

Hello, I'm still pretty new to propagating plants but have had success with taking wet sticks and putting them in a small plastic cup of perlite, spray it with some water, and then tape another plastic cup on top. This worked out for my Alocasia Jacklyn corms as well as a Lemon Lime philodendron ☺️ also tried sphagnum moss or just water propagations and neither of those worked for me

Make sure the node is in water, otherwise it won't take. I've never used any other methods to prop

You’ll need at least one node to grow a root. I don’t see any. From the “before” pictures, I would have removed the bottom two leaves and maybe sloughed off that dried node to get something possibly growing from them. Maybe the next clipping you take try to remove more lower leaves and check for potential roots (nodes) and get the bottom leaves off so you can get her into the water.
