Hi all. I propagated golden pothos. Had 3 separate babies and they had all grown nice roots of > 1 inch each. I placed them in soil, initially in a 3 inch plastic pot but then I moved them to a chobani container (holes in the bottom of course) as I felt the pot was too big. The leaves are yellowing and look like they are fainted. What did I do wrong? Should I place them in water again to try save them?

Could be transplant shock since they were potted twice, but the yellowing is a bit concerning. Possible the soil is too rich and compacting/suffocating the young roots. Be gentle with watering. I’ve had good luck using diluted hydrogen peroxide (1 part to 3 parts water) as a way to make sure oxygen is getting down to the roots.

Yes, I placed the roots very superficial both times and have been letting the soil dry out before watering. How much of the peroxide mix do you use? Is it like watering with the mix (pour until solution comes out of the holes? Or more like wet the soil a bit with the solution. I watered them yesterday. The soil is all purpose potting mix. Should I change it to a mix of all purpose with succulent mix?

You’ll add it to your water when it’s time to water. Then water as normal.
