This is a cutting of my Golden pothos ‘Epipremnum aureum’ is growing so fast i place it in water May/21/2024. I am just wondering when is the best time to plant it in soil?

When it has a root that can go in a circle around the bottom of the jar at least that’s what I do or that it’s roots have roots so it has like an established roots system

the rule is to wait for secondary roots to form, roots coming off of other roots

you’re right!! just make sure to change the water every few days to prevent anything yucky!

Pothos can be soil propagated too so you can wait until the roots are an inch or two. Keep in mind the longer you wait the longer the adjustment period will be when you put it into soil. It will have developed water roots which won’t be sufficient in media right away. Give it extra moisture when you transition it to soil
