    It looks like an amaryllis, so it’s a seed pod!

    The flower buds don't look like that and the bulb would be growing at the base so that leaves a seed pod.

    Wait until it drys enough to start turning yellow and it splits open. Then you can collect the seeds to plant or give away/sell.
