Hahaha this is the first air plant I’ve ever even kept alive, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw this!

Give it plenty of bright light and some fertilizer every now and then and it will produce a pup. I found out, after killing lots of them, that they really need bright indirect light.

So cute!! I’d leave it on until it’s a solid half the size of the parent plant and then, if you want to separate them, you can gently twist the base of the pup and make sure to let both callus before your next watering 😊

I just leave the pups attached to the parent and then they turn into a bigger clump, but once the pup is at least half the parent’s size you could twist it off and then have two plants. 🙂

This is one of my air plants that has a parent plant and the pup (one one right and slightly smaller). I left them attached
