Took a walk in our local park nature perserve area today and was really studying all the plants as I walked by today for the first time ever really. I kept wondering if there were any that I could cut and take home to propagate. Does anyone know? Has anyone ever done that? I live in the South Jersey area. Hopefully it’s legal 🙏🏼💚 Poison ivy also grows wildly in this area so I’d need to make sure I avoid any ivy’s it’s hard to tell which might be poisonous. Photo below of my little spider plant props at home. I tried an experiment this week where I put some spaghum moss in their water. So it almost looks like they are potted in glass containers. They trying their hardest to make roots 🙏🏼💚

A quick google will tell you but probably not legal 😂 In the uk it’s not legal to take cuttings from public parks or sidewalks. If you have the confidence to ask a neighbour or a stranger to take a cutting from their property I would try that tho

That’s actually a great idea! I have a friend in the neighborhood that is an amazing gardener. Maybe I will ask her. 😍💚🙏🏼

Ye I doubt you would get caught taking from a park but imagine getting a fine or arrested for a leaf 😂
