Hello plant friends. I am trying out something i’ve never done before but have been down a deep dive in. I want to start propagating and would love to know everything about it. My first project is to propagate my string of pearls. I cut a few lengths off about 5 inches, i have 8 cuttings that i’m really hoping turn out well. I do only have them in some water but that was a question of mine, should I invest in a solution or something for this process? I’m excited for this. Happy planting!

    Don’t prop them in water, they don’t like it lol lay your cuttings on succulent/ cactus soil and give them plenty of light and time ☺️ Their root systems are very shallow and are very sensitive to overwatering

      This is exactly how I propagate any and all of my succulents and have had luck! It does take ALOT of time so it does take some patience!

    No its extra gritty/ fast draining soil, you can find at any hardware store or plant center. I can’t think of any succulents that would do well in a leca pon medium, they don’t like their roots sitting in water.
