Diana in paradise
About to show just how much of a newbie I am (lol). Found this on my walk today…big aloe leaf. Can it be propagated?

It looks like the end is already calloused over so dip it in rooting compound and put it in a propagation mix (1 part sand, 1 part potting soil, 1 part perlite). Keep it in a warm bright space and make sure to keep it lightly damp. Too much water in the soil will cause it to rot. These kind of succulents actually need to be enticed to send out roots to look for water. If soil stays wet, it will pull water in but won’t root…and eventually will rot. Don’t ever let it get soggy Keep us posted on your progress! It should take about 6 weeks to sent out good roots.
