Will this pearl & jade pothos root? A lovely coworker clipped this, put it in water for a week or two and just gave it to me. I really want it to flourish! Advice wanted!

Off topic, but you have the same propagation stand as me! I’m using mine for my Pothos props too!
1 likeIt was a gift and I'm so happy to finally use it!
1 likePothos is the one plant I’ve ever had consistently reliable success with propagating by rooting in water and transplanting to soil. Good luck, hope it’s the same for you!
2 likesYes it will grow roots from the nodes. I’ve made lots of cuttings from my pearl & jade pothos that way. Keep the water clean and fresh
1 likeThank you - do you think it was cut in the right place? I always get confused about that
0 likeslooks good to me! it looks like it was cut in between the nodes and you have a couple of nodes left, which is what I always aim for.
1 likeIt should root very easily! Just be sure to change out the water once a week. Once it has roots that are 2 inches long and has off-shoot roots, it’s ready to be potted into a chunky soil mix- or you can grow it indefinitely in water alone if you add a hydroponic fertilizer.
