A neighbor with a gorgeous outdoor flower garden shared these plants (and a box of others) with me before she left on her vacation. I have no idea what these are. 😫Though they look like green onions or garlic plants, I know they are a flowering plant from her gorgeous flower beds. Also, no garlic or onion scent. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

If they’re still your neighbor you could maybe ask her when she gets back? Any idea what color the flowers were?

I have no idea this time. She’s usually really good a leaving a note if she drops them off. Most often she calls and I run over to choose what she’s dividing or pulling out. I might have to wait to really know. LOL

Can you show a pic of the leaves? And the overall size?

Here’s full size. (I think) Planta keeps cropping the pics. 🥴

Those look like green onions, they bloom in white or purple. Looks like yours is about to bloom.

That is what they look like for sure. I just assumed they were something else since they were in a flower bed. I think I’ll just plant them and see how tbey do. 😄

They might be an ornamental onion or unusually thin-leafed allium
