Hi! Ive been trying to propagate these rose stems for months now. I honestly have no idea what I’m doing and probably should’ve done more research. I just cut the bottom of the stems at a 45 degree and put them in water. One of them somehow started growing new leaves, but no roots. What should I do next? I don’t even know if it’s gonna grow roots and I’m not sure what to expect. Please help! I need advice because I really want them to make it, if that’s possible. Thank you!

No I haven’t! Do you have any suggestions of what brand or kind to use?

It's great that it's growing leaves; that'll provide it with food while it works on rooting. Rooting hormone is a good idea, but isn't always necessary depending on plant species. Be sure to change out the water regularly (like once every week or every other week) to prevent rot. Using distilled water can also help prevent rot issues. As it grows roots, try to train it to spread them evenly outwards so it'll sort of sit on a cone of soil when you eventually plant it. As it develops branches and multiple canes, start seasonal pruning; roses appreciate being trimmed regularly to help keep good airflow around their branches
