🌵🐰 Propagating these bunny cactus pads without sacrificing my fingers to the spike gods 😂🌵 Any tips for the best way to handle and propagate them without getting covered in tiny spikes? And I need your advice… once they’ve callused over, would you plant them straight into soil, or is it better to start them in water first? 🌱💧 What’s worked best for you? I’d love to hear your tips! 👇✨

Use gloves and place in a gritty mix. I actually threw mine in the garbage cause I was sick of the glochids lol such an evil lil plant

Even a regular pair of latex/nitrile gloves, cleaning gloves, etc will protect you just fine. Let them callus for several days before putting in gritty mix.

When I need to mess with these I use kitchen tongs. Use to use gloves but stickers started going thru. So I went to tongs.
