Tl;dr is there an optimal time to move new plants from under a grow light to a room with less direct light? I got some pothos cuttings that I planted last month. Right now I’m babying them under a grow light in our kitchen, but I’m wondering if there is an optimal time to move them elsewhere where they won’t be getting 15 hours of direct light. Our apartment gets very little direct sunlight, but my office has an east facing window and I just added some shelves that I’m hoping to relocate some plants to eventually. Two of the pothos cuttings are showing new growth (mostly to replace leaves one of my cats chomped) and another has a new shoot starting. The other two are doing well but not showing and growth up top yet, so I assume still rooting. How long should I wait before moving these guys into my office? Or does it matter?

I think they should be fine anytime you move them! A pothos will still be happy with less light

The majority of grow lights simulate indirect light, so it shouldn’t be a huge shock to move them.

I wondered if this was the case but good to have confirmed!

Wow, plant parent of the year award for paying such close attention to the little details, though! 🏆
