I have a full snake plant leaf. I would like around 5 props from this 12” leaf. What is the most successful way to go about this?

Cut each section into a chevron.

What’s the purpose of that shape? And does it just in succulent soil?

I believe it’s to create more surface area for rooting, but I really don’t know. Yes you can let them harden overnight and then plop them into a cactus/succulent mix.

Oh cool! Thanks. Do I at least must the soil before putting them in?

In my opinion no need to cut it up I popped mine in water till it had roots planted it in a pot with cactus soil just big enough for pups to grow

I had already cut them, so this is what I have. If I end up with extra, it’s all good. It’s a pretty variety.
