New to propagating. I have thanksgiving cactus cuttings and jade plant branches. I’m letting them callous right now, but is it better to propagate them in water or soil? Does it matter? It seems like everyone online has different opinions. I’m just looking for the best way to keep them alive.

Still alive months later! The roots have taken well. I struggle getting mine to bloom and I wanted to try to make it fuller which is why I did it. I haven’t seen new growth on them those pieces yet but they look good.

Definitely Soil is better. Mine is growing crazy outside from starting in soil.
