Hoping to propagate this monstera plant but I’m a total beginner so hoping for some advice. The leaves seem healthy enough? And it has lived forever! (Grown from a propagation that was gifted to me at least 3 years ago). I just don’t know where to cut and how many spots should be cut to keep this one healthy (seems like there may be more than one spot that needs propagating?) if anybody has any useful links I can use to help me with this even, that would be awesome. TIA!

You’ll want to cut just below a node to propagate successfully. The node will be a bump on the stem where a leaf is coming out, and there may be a little brown nub on the stem as well. I’ve marked in this photo some locations where you could cut. I would recommend only taking one or two cuttings, because of how sparse the plant is. Hope this helps :)

Your monstera is light starved. It’s a bit leggy. How much light does it get and are you using grow lights?

I’m not using grow lights but maybe I should. It is right beside a window and in the spring and summer months it gets a lot of light but currently with it being winter there is not as much light. I will move it to directly in front of a window to get as much as possible and maybe get a grow light? I really appreciate your feedback! Thank you!
