My succulent propagations have had no change. They have been under a grow light getting about 60ppfd for 3 weeks. I haven’t watered the soil or used rotting hormone of them. This is my first time propagating succulents as I am more into tropical plants. Can anyone give me any tips. Are they maybe not at the correct angle against the soil?

These can take along time to propagate. I have two that have been sitting for a month and are just now starting to root. And another batch that have little leafs showing but are like 2 months. Your host leafs look healthy so I wouldn’t worry these kinds of plants can be slow. If anything the only thing I do differently is I mist mine like 1-2 times a week. Nothing that will let the leaf rot but something to encorage some roots. As for position you can really do anything but I think what you have is fine. I usually just throw mine in the pots of other plants like my pathos and creeping silver and they seam to like that.

Patience, weekly watering and neglect is needed to propagate these. It takes forever! The layout looks fine. I water once a week with a calendar reminder until the water is about 1 inch deep when using shallow pots. I make sure water touches the rooting ends of the leaves. Then, I leave them alone. I make sure the soil is dry before watering again the following week. The props in the picture have been growing for months. It takes time.

I don’t know if this is right, but in my experience I get single leaf jade props to grow best when I leave them in the soil with the mother plant and act as if they aren’t there. It does take a while to grow, but I usually see signs of growth (or rot) around a month

You can kind of see how I stick the leaf in the soil at an angle. This one is maybe 2 months old

While jade plants can be propagated from individual leaves, they are more likely to propagate successfully if a small portion of the stem is attached to the leaf.
