I always do this whenever I lose a leaf. I don’t have very much luck though. How wet am I supposed to keep the soil? Any advice?

I think others might have more indepth advice, but from the succulents ive propogated, usually i wont wet the soil until i see roots spitting out, and the main leaf starts dying off. It can take a while!

Thank you. I’ll wait until I see roots. My problem is that a lot of them dry out on me.

Just put the prop on the soil, don’t bury them.

I found a leaf I had thrown away in a crack at the bottom of a gutter that was growing a plant! 🤷‍♀️

I concur that laying the leaves on top of the soil is best. Then, leave them alone in bright light until roots form which can take weeks. I water the first inch of soil and allow it to dry out before watering again once the roots grow out.

I personally never had luck with the “red taco” peperomias with any method 🤷
