My dieffenbachia was outta hand and not doing well… leggy, windy stems and falling over….I hesitated for weeks on what to do….I finally just went for it🤞🤞🤞

Congrats on just going for it!! I had THE SAME hesitation with propagating my dieffenbachia and I took months to build up the courage. Yours look so healthy and beautiful! What direction did you take? Separate from the roots?

Thank you! I just went with my gut instinct 🤷🏻♀️ cleaned off her roots as well as I could, trimmed all the sicky looking leaves and then chopped off quite a few inches of bending stems… I was nervous to propagate in just water so I stuck em all back in dirt and hope for the best🤞🤞🤞 trust the process right? I did take all the trimmings and stuck those in waters for the hell of it…
0 likesI did the same awhile back - cut the tops and propagated in water! They grew amazing roots fast so I planted them! Doing well so far! Low and behold the bases I cut from have new growth too!
