Too blurry to tell what is wrong. I assume you cut off a spider baby with plans to propagate and they turned brown after you cut them? You may have cut them too early before aerial roots formed. (I’m guessing since I can’t see the plant.) My photo shows both an immature offspring (Hawaiian) and one more than ready to plant (Curly Bonnie). I’m not sure if this helps.

I had no idea you had to wait for aerial roots 😅 glad I randomly saw this comment, thank you.

No problem. Just give the mother plant bright light, higher humidity, regular feeding and water when the soil is dry about 1 or 2 inches. She will put out a lot of spider babies.
