Been trying to propagate this scindapsus; is this root rot? I did cut it from the mother plant that later died of root rot. Should I just toss or try to save?

Save it! Is the root firm? Its just the brown color? That’s totally normal. Put it in water and wait for secondary roots to grow before moving it back to soil.

That’s totally normal for my scindapsus as long and they’re firm roots
