Hi everyone, This morning my pot for my gasteraloe broke and and so did the plant. It broke into two pieces and I am wondering if there is anyway to save the middle part that doesn’t have roots? I’ve attached photos below of the two parts (I temporarily repotted the bottom into a larger pot in hopes to put them together). The roots are very healthy on the bottom and looked great, I just want to see if I can save it, Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance for your help!

I think the bottom half will be just fine!

Thank you! Do you think I’ll be able to save the top portion? Try rooting powder after it dries out a little?

I think rooting powder is most effective when the separation is fresh

Idk. I have tried something similar before but it died. I believe it is worth a shot, tho!!

I read recently that as long as an aloe cutting includes a bit of the main/original stem, it should be able to root. I think this qualifies! Good luck!🍀

Let it callus, dip in rooting hormone, then lay on soil. It can take a LONG time. My lace aloe took months. The original mother plant then threw up pups.
