    Cut right above a node(so the node is attached to the cutting) and then plop it in water. That’s literally all I do and mine flourish. I sometimes change water, but it’s not necessary. Let the roots grow for as long as you can be patient for, or until they are at least 2 inches long, and then plant in soil. I tend to let roots grow wildly in water and plant after a couple months bc more roots means more chances that the roots will adapt to soil and the plant will thrive. Hope that helps!

    pothos are the easiest to propagate, they even send out a rooting hormone in the water. for even more success i recommend using an in-between medium for a few weeks once the roots have grown an inch or two. you could use perlite, fluval, pon, or leca as they’ll adapt to soil faster from those than straight from the water

    I have a Pothos growing in water and it’s thriving so much! Beautiful roots and it’s starting to sprout new leaves! Try to change the water every week and a half!
