How long should I wait to separate this philodendron pup? Should it go right into soil or water?

Not an expert buuut I would let it get 2 or 3 inches tall before separating. That way the pup has enough energy reserves to help sustain it while it establishes. I’d move it into soil and use a wee pot. Good luck!
