Hi all! I successfully propagated this prayer plant but am not sure what to do next.. My dad came to visit yesterday and seems to think I need to trim a leaf or two as the roots won’t be able to support new leaves coming up.. opinions? Also, when is it ready to plant in soil? What soil type? Sorry for the many questions! So new to this🫣

Plant it! I’ve been seeing a lot of people having success growing these hydro or semi-hydroponically. Since you water propped this and they so finicky, that might be a good choice?

my guy has been thriving in a mix of regular potting soil, tropical potting soil, a little aeration like lava rocks or the little white pellets i can’t remember the name of! i will say tho that the older leaves do get stressed with new growth, mine dropped his oldest leaf the other day after his newest uncurled. i’ve been watering him solely with rainwater hoping he doesn’t get mad at me. by far the most dramatic plant i’ve ever had!!!
