I don’t know if anybody could help me in this group or not I have a question I have a petunia that I started from seed this past spring and it did not flower at all my question should I strip the seeds from the stem? Will it come back next year?
This was the first year that I started petunias from a seed usually I buy them out of a greenhouse that’s already bloomed
I live in Maine and we had a wet spring but a drought during the summer months I was using the guidelines at Planta had for watering fertilizer etc.

My plant Violet had something absolutely tragic happen to her today :(
So, long story short I’m a university student, so the places I can keep my plant is limited to my bedroom.
My great nan gave her to me and she was thriving. However, today I’ve gone to water her and all her leaves have just… fallen off?
Was so confused, because I’ve been watering her fine, and what’s left of her is all string and new growth.
Violet has been reduced to a mere twig, and I’m how salty sat here feeling like I might cry over a plant because I loved her so much :((
Any advice is more than welcome.

Anyone know why my leaves keep falling off?? They are turning brown and looping down! Most of my new growth stems are droopy too!! I just repotted her because she was really badly root bound and had a little root rot. Please help!

I’m looking for some advice on my African violet. I’ve cared for and grown African violet a little over two years. My violet was under the same care as the rest and is the only one infected so far. I am asking for advice because I’m not sure what happened and would like to prevent the rest of my violets from getting infected too. I’m not sure if it can be saved or not. If anyone has any suggestions or advice. I’m open to all.

I got this Philodendron Brasil from the clearance section at Lowe’s. In the end only 3 leaves looked like they would survive. It’s been a couple of weeks and it looks the same. Any advice for helping it out? Should I remove the damaged leaf?

I got it this weekend from a plant store and it was severely dry. I put it in orchid bark and watered it and it started getting this yellowing.

On a last ditch effort, I removed my dying galaxy from its pot, got it out of its soil and placed it just in water. Roots are looking pretty brown so it may be too late. But I’ll keep trying.

Rescued this poor babe from the entryway of a grocery store. I swore I wouldn’t buy a plant this wknd….but she was being blasteddd nonstop by the AC draft & the sister plant next to her was already halfway to death. It was tragic. I had to. You get it. Anyway, rinsed her in the shower, sprayed with organic pest spray, bottom-watered in a bowl (with a bit more pest spray mixed in) until all the water was gone. She perked right up 🥰 Before/after pics, 3rd pic I used a strip of velcro plant tie to support a bit more. No regrets ✨

Anyone know what’s wrong with a newer leaf on my fiddle leaf fig? It’s not spider mites. I tend to water a bit less than I should, but these spots are only on 1 leaf at the top of the plant…

My monstera had root rot , these are the remaining healthy lil guys, I’ve popped her into a small pot with extra drainage- do I just hope and pray now ?

hello!! i got a thai for my birthday a few months back and almost immediately saw signs of over-watering. i though waiting it out and checking the moisture before watering would help. i decided to finally check the roots today and saw that there was root rot. is there still hope for her or some treatment recommendations? thank you!!

One of its leaves just spontaneously turned yellow, it could be that it’s outgrowing the cup it’s in, but I’m not sure, I don’t think I’m overwatering it and it’s in well draining soil

SOS! What’s wrong with my Mother of Thousands? I already plan to move it back to a smaller pot, I just put it in this pot about a week ago and realized it is way too big. But the leaves started turning black and crispy along the edges and slowly spread over the whole leaf.
Some details: this plant is from my Aunt who I believe had it outdoors where it did receive a lot of sun. I keep it indoors where I have grow lights. So there has been a change in light and temperature for it in the past month.
This is my 3rd MOT, I don’t know how I keep managing to kill them! They’re supposed to be so easy!
Also please ignore the cat butter knife lol, I was worried it may topple over (when it had more big leaves and was heavier) so I put it there for the plant to lean against.

Made Melancia unhappy from over watering. The plug was not drying fully I think. Might have to repot if she can't push through and get the roots into air pockets.

How do I get new growth? A few weeks ago I had received this gageana aurea alocasia and most of plant didn’t survive but what I had left of roots were great. I cut off the dead leaf of this and it’s been like this ever since I got it 😭
