Guys I’m a succulent girly, I just recently started branching out into other types of plants. My calathea that I rescued is doing great! But my fern, not so much and it doesn’t help that I’m not used to the frequent watering schedule🤦🏾♀️ Is there any coming back from this? I rescued Fenris from Lowe’s but he’s been struggling still. He had a small baby after I repotted him but it stopped growing and now I don’t even see it. I’ve recently moved him closer to the window and I’m planning to be more consistent with his water schedule. I also left some of the already dead limbs to put nutrients back in the soil. I just want to know if he has a chance😕

I bought this plant maybe 5-6 days ago and completely forgot about it. I never added it to my app, and therefore it just sat on my bookshelf.
The soil was completely dried out. I’m not even sure what this is. Maybe a Rabbit’s Tail Fern or Wormwood??
I’ve watered and misted it, and moved it. Any recommendations???

Just rescued this one yesterday. I think it’s a calathea orbifolia, can someone help identify? And any tips on how to get it back to being healthy? Thanks :)

This is my Autumn Fern.
I’ve removed all of the completely dead leaves to allow it to focus on the healthy ones. I accidentally put it in a window that received a lot of light without me realizing. It got very sad so a few days ago I moved it to a shaded part of my house that receives minimal sunlight. Any other advice or is it just a waiting game now?

Why is it that my spider plant has hung on for 8 years with minimal effort but now that I am actively caring for it, it’s starting to die 😫

This is Lili, lil for short, and I have recently revived this poor thing but she’s still not looking her best, leggy and leaning plus probably a few other things, any suggestions of what I should do would help, I’ve already got a good watering schedule and I think enough light, thanks in advance! ;)

Within a few days my poor kiwi has started to wither. Do you think it's a result of sunburn? Perhaps underwatering? Anything helps! Thanks! 😊

I found an old (jade?) plant covered in mites and spiders in a broken pot. I think it was abandoned in my neighbors back yard from the previous owners and has been there struggling for 3-4 years, if not more.
I’m hoping this plant can be a intro for me into more advanced gardening and the beginning stages of learning Bonsai. It’s in a cracked pot, but I’m interested in testing my green thumb, and Planta’s Community Groups and plant care reminders.
Fingers crossed for a successful and unique outcome!
Not so good gardener

Can someone please help me with these plants? 😭
I’ve had them since March, no growth at all.
My Alocasia Black Velvet is so sad. I took her out of her pot last week and found a plug. I ended up cutting it off but it keeps looking worse. The one leaf is thriving. Do I just cut the other one off or hope for the best?
Next is my string of turtles. She will NOT grow no matter what I try. She also looks sad. I don’t know how to get her to grow 🥲

My elephant ear has taken a turn for the worst. My house is not very bright so most of my plants have grow lights of some sort. When I bought this plant, they had it in with the aquatic plants so it was basically sitting in water, when I brought it home I did not repot it right away and kept the soil pretty damp just to make sure I didn’t shock it, after a few weeks I did repot still keeping soil fairly moist and it seemed to be doing well but now leaves are droopy and crispy. New leaf growth was coming in however those leaves are starting to curl in which I thought might’ve been because the grow light was too bright so I change the settings on that too.
Please help, I love my black plant

Trying to take care of this Monstera deliciosa… Swiss Cheese Plant. I have done what the app recommended, and added a grow light, as I have this in my kitchen with no windows.
I also am following the water instructions now. This pot is one of those with the self watering with cotton string in bottom drain. It stayed way too wet on bottom, so I just cut the strings off.
The plant already seems to be doing better and is growing new leaves. But I’m concerned about the dried brown ends. Will it fix itself, or what do I do with this?
Thanks for any advise. This is my first Swiss Cheese plant. I’ve had it several months.

This variegated strawberry begonia used to look much fuller. I got her about 2 months ago but she’s still not growing. I moved her to a brighter location but I’m still not seeing results. Thoughts?

Hey guys. We are in the process of starting our vegetable garden. All of the other plants are doing well. However, this ghost pepper plant died and I’m wondering if anyone can tell me what happened? The day after it got home I started noticing little holes in the leaves. I did spray it with neem oil in case something was eating it. When I dug it up, the stem was mushy and brown so it was definitely dead.
This plant was probably in the ground less than a week and declined from the moment it was planted.
We grow a garden pretty much every year and this is our 3rd year growing ghost peppers specifically. We’ve never seen this the past years.
