Please help! I got this Palm about a week ago and no matter what I do it just keeps getting worse. I have repotted it into a pot that has good drainage, and I keep it near my window that is facing East so it gets a good amount of light in the mornings. It has brown spots, is starting to droop, and the leaves are starting to get brown tips and turn yellow. Advice needed please! I really want to save this guy.
This Aglaonema was in my daughterâs room. She put it in a north facing window and it lost leaves, became pale and rough looking. There was a lot more sun in the window than I anticipated. Brought it out to dining room where I could keep an eye on it-check moisture, for pests, etc. Last night I touched the stem and it fell over and broke off at the soil line. The picture shows where it broke. The white is not mold, itâs remnant of stem and small piece of perlite.
First snake(s) plant given to me from my neighbor who gave me three pups; the one attached is in the worst condition: brown spots, drooping, yellow and browning tips. Pretty much anything that can be wrong and could be the cause of many things. Iâll have to wait to repot I presume since she just transplanted them. Any advice? Planta states theyâre sensitive to lime in water so I wonder if anyone has advice concerning watering.
Advice needed please! Recently received this oxalis. She looked good yesterday and today all droopy. Soil was DRY! Sheâs only in a 2â pot with many plants. Obviously, I watered her earlier than Planta suggested. Main Question-should I repot to a 4â (or bigger) pot so she doesnât dry out in a day and a half? I read sheâs a very fast grower, so she should fill in the 4â (or bigger) pot rather quickly? TIA for any helpđ±
Sheâs got fungus gnats and I donât know how to quarantine her. Iâm already buying diatomaceous earth but Iâm frustrated and worried that sheâll infest the others. Edit: itâs the pothos đ
HELP! I replanted this plant after seeing her leaves start to brown and got a grow light for her as well due to thinking maybe she just didnât have enough sunlight, but after replanting her, I watered her thoroughly so the fertilization sticks I put in would help thinking that her past soil mightâve been too dry but now that Iâm thinking it through more, I think it was too wet maybe? I put rocks at the bottom of her new soil and mixed regular house plant soil with perlite. She then proceeded to have another leaf start to brown. All of her leaves have been drooping (before, and after repotting) and I donât know what to do as I just repotted her in soil, but the soil is pretty damp and I really donât want to give more new soil to dry her out and see if sheâs happy lol.đ€Šđ»ââïž I donât even know thag to do lol. I cut the one leaf that was browning a lot off in hopes that me pruning it would help it focus its rest of its energy but I think it hates me.đ I NEED ADVICE!!!
This plant I have had for like 2 years and its dying very slowly but I donât wanna lose it! It was a big hanging vine but the vines keep dying over time and I donât know how I can get it back to a good healthy looking vine.
Hi everyone! My ficus elastica tineke (Naomi) has had so many leaves drop over the past few months. Sheâs extremely leggy compared to when I first got her and all new growth is very small and slow to come in. Iâve changed her location in my home, provided her with a grow light, fertilized her and checked for pests but she continued to shed. Iâm a recovering overwaterer and I recently learned what âroot rotâ is. This gave me suspicions that the issue could be in her roots. After digging her up and cleaning her off, I found lots of little worms crawling around her roots and even organic growth that formed a mesh-like cover over part of the roots. Hereâs how her roots look after cleaning and treating with Hydrogen Peroxide. I have no idea if they look healthy since everywhere Iâve read says âroots should be beige in colorâ and these are not. They were still flexible after drying for a few hours so I decided to plant her in a new pot with fresh soil. Do these roots look like they can be redeemed? Naomi needs to be restored to her former glory! đ
Iâm not sure what to do about this plant. I rescued her from a self-watering pot that was creating mold on her surface. While new leaves are coming in, Iâm still a bit concerned thatâs she isnât getting as bushy as her fellow plants. Any tips here would help, and I do think maybe the pot is too big?
Iâve had this succulent for almost 7 years! It seems to not be doing well due to the long stems and tiny leaves. I repotted it to the mason jar probably about 5 years ago but havenât done much to it since. Should I repot it? Can I propagate it to be less lengthy? Im growing morning glories right now, and they were sprawling out so I put them on a temporary mini-trellis. They finished germinating about 1-2 weeks ago, and I only touched the leaves while adjusting them. Washing my hands before and after. I water them every day, but they just stopped growing and are starting to droop and wilt. Any tips?
My calathea was knocked over. It didnât come out of the pot and not much soil came out, so I just scooped it back up and watered again. Not sure how to get her to perk back up:(

To make a long story short-9 days ago I combined 2 Monstera Peru. They looked wilty from the next day. Thought it may be shock. Was in chunky, airy soil with multiple drainage points and not in standing water. Soil was extremely wet when I took it out of pot and found thisđ can I save them?
I know birds of paradise are tropical, and Iâve been watering well and fertilizing well but the leaves still have brown edges? Should k use a humidifier or something?
Recently the algorithm has put some videos in my feed about potting cuttings or plants recovering from root rot in perlite. Has anyone tried this and had success? Did you use only perlite or did you add a little bit of soil? Thanks!!

Hi friends, sorry in advance for the long explanation. TLDR; can I fix her? My grandma gave me her old peace lily (without telling me) and it started having problems with overwatering because the soil wasnât chunky enough. I went to put in new soil, found a rolly polly, and freaked out (I know theyâre harmless but not to my psyche). I left it alone for way too long and then finally fixed it, but now it looks like this. I cut off some dead leaves a few days ago but she really isnât doing well. Is she fixable? The roots look good.
