Why is my pothos so sad?! It was completely dry but it’s been like this for ages! Thanks x
My friend asked that I rehab her bird of paradise. I really wanna take it on but have no experience w them. I have several personal plants that are thriving and on the plants care schedule, any suggestions?
What happened?!!! 😭
hi, my peace lily is down to one leaf because i left it outside in hot weather on accident and the leaf is very droopy and flimsy. The pot is now way to big for the little leaf so I’m wondering if it’s best to repot it into a smaller pot or propagate it in water. Please send advice!
Writing for a friend - her Pink Panther Tradescantia has been wilting, it gets plenty of sun and is watered every week, and she doesn’t know what to do. any tips would be helpful! Thank you!
Hi I was on vacation and came back with my Starfish snake plant looking like this. Could my husband overwatered it? Do I cut the brown spots off? Any help please
Hi everyone, my roommate is struggling with her palm- do you think this is just from winter dryness in the air or a bigger problem? It is much more yellow irl the roots look alright and she waters once a week
is this mould or something else??
RIP to my Fairy Castle Cactus. Had her for years and started paying attention to her vs ignoring her and I watered too much. Trying to save pieces to start over.
I have been seeing these brown dots on leaves for a month now.. also i noticed there are flying insects/gnats in/on the sand. Pls tell what is it and how to treat that
Help me!! 😞😞😞
I posted about my fairy castle cactus a couple months ago. Since then I think she got over watered and was not doing well. I just repotted her (right image) so that I could change the soil and check her roots. I also didn’t want her in an oblong shaped pot because it’s hard to remove. She’s not my favorite to look at as you don’t visually see new growth but she’s done really well. Wishing her well in her new pot!
I ended up removing my African Violets from its pot and getting rid of all of her soil. The self watering pot she was in had been overwatering her and I noticed a bit of root rot (which I cut off.) in addition to that I saw some bugs crawling around in her soil that might of been feeding on her leaves and her roots. I put her in a brand new pot and soil with proper drainage and have her under a grow light. Is there any suggestions on what else I could do to help with the recovering process?
How to get rid of little insects like flying on/over my indoor plants.
🍋🌳-update: It doesn’t look like it’s former glory but it’s alive and look at its new leaves 🤩 All damaged leaves and dead branches are removed, I’ve trimmed it and it got some extra soil on top of the old one to cover the exposed roots. Now I’ll just wait and keep my fingers crossed for it 🤞
What is happening to my leggy echevaria ?! :(( it’s leaves have been falling of over the past few days (about 5) and I don’t know what to do. I don’t want it to die. It has these black dots/patches on most of its leaves
This is my daughter’s pathetic money tree. I’m taking it on as a challenge. It didn’t help that I dropped something on it and broke the only stem. But I taped it up and now it has a bud!
Ok, so I’ve had this lemon tree for years (it’s from a seed that I planted 2018). During spring this year it started to look sad so I moved it outside in a “well off you go and take care of your self now, bye bye!”- manner thinking that it needed to decide if it wanted to live or not by it self. But it just wouldn’t die. It’s been out there during the Swedish “summer” and autumn, it even experienced some nights of - 2C° (28F°) recently. So today I moved it back indoors. Tomorrow it will get cleaned and looked over. Later I’ll trim it down a bit, change some of the soil (and remove some weeds 😅) and place it in a well lit spot (south facing window and a grow light since light isn’t a thing that we have too much of up here in the north during winter). But for now just some acclimation and rest 😊 Adding some pictures we (hopefully) can compare it too later 😅🤞
I’m trying to nurse this aloe back to health but I’m not exactly sure what it needs! Does it look like it has some kind of mold?
Hello friends! We lost some leaves but I’m going to try to keep this girl in soil. I’ve been remember to water more frequently lol so the remaining ones look okay. I am also going to start misting, I know there are mixed reviews but misting it might make it more fun lol. Some of the leaves are looking a little weird though. Any suggestions?? Wish us luck!
