Hey everyone! We just got this kalanchoe about 3 weeks ago and she’s looking a little droopy!? Anyone have an idea what could be happening? We’ve been watering according the app notifications and making sure it’s when the soil is dry on top and the plant gets about 6 hours of sun about 3 feet away from our window. Any advice is appreciated.
Need more details. Moisture level of soil? Indoor or outdoor plant? Could your roots be over crowded?
0 gillningarThe soil is a little moist from watering last week. The soil is a mix of regular potting soil with a bit of cactus mix. It’s an indoor plant. The pot has plenty of drainage. I don’t think the roots could be overcrowded. We bought it in a slightly smaller plastic starter pot from ikea and I transferred it to this pot and broke up the root ball about three weeks ago when we brought it home. It was looking good until about a week ago.
0 gillningar Probably damaged the roots a little bit. & only thing else I could think of is a cool draft hitting it. I’d give them a little support so they aren’t hanging so low but good news is they aren’t dying. They flowers look healthy, just droopy.
0 gillningar Wait! You have a lot of flowers on a thin stem. Maybe it’s too heavy which you could fix by cutting some flowers. Get rid of the ones that aren’t looking too good.
