I have a sweet basil who is a stick and won’t grow any leaves. She was doing ok last year, till the winter hit and now she won’t grow anything. Anyone know how to help or what to do in this situation?

    I think basil is an annual; I let mine go to seed at the end of the season and inevitably have more little basils in the spring. Since there are leaves on the short bit, you could try cutting the long stick back and seeing if it sprouts new growth, but otherwise I think it might be time to sow a little seed and make some new ones
