Hi folks. I need help with my very neglected peace lily. I'm planning to repot her this weekend, I've never repotted, I took her from my grandparents house when we cleared it out, which was about 7 years ago! Do you think I should separate the shoots into different pots? Are they ok to just go into soil? I've put a couple of tiny new shoots in water to see if they sprout more. Any other tips or advice would be really appreciated!
I’m gonna be honest, (unless there is a fungus or pest issue) when repotting, I never disturbed the roots or existing soil. I just take it out of the pot, plop it into the new pot and just add more soil! You can separate the new babies if you want, you don’t have to. If you do, they’re fine going right into soil

Especially with a peace lily, I would not disturb the root ball like Bebe said!! They are very dramatic.
