I have q christmas cactus that looks half dead and I don't know why. Can some tell me why?

    Could be a watering issue. From the photo it looks like it may not be getting enough light? Mine was doing ok in my kitchen window, barely bloomed. Then I moved it to my office where it gets a ton of light and maybe a foot away from the window. It’s still blooming some flowers.

    I can see from here the soil is too tight. Roots need to breathe air too! It could also be that the plants are too small for their container. Remove the plants from the pot and check on the roots. If they are brown and limp/swuishy they need to be cut off; you have root rot. Seperate the two plants from eachother and put them in different containers, smaller containers that just barely fit the roots. A cup with no drainage is fine as long as you dont drown it. You may not need to buy more soil if you mix it up and fluff everything up nicely. If the soil is too grainy and sticky, think again.
