Hi! I bought this baby olive tree from a plant store a week ago. They suggested I water once a week and keep out of direct sunlight. The pot has drainage at the bottom. I’ve watered only once as suggested, but the leaves are drying out and falling off. It looks similar to my lemon tree where the leaves just dry up and fall off due to the Fall season. Is that what it is or is there another reason why this may be happening? Figured I’d ask on here before changing anything! Thanks! 🤍

    Olives are an Evergreen plant, they don't lose leaves seasonally. The like dry and yes to the watering once a week. Sometimes with change some plants need a bit more water. I'd check the soil, if it's super dry I'd water it. How much light is it getting? These are actually one that wouldn't mind direct ssunlight, as long as they've been hardened off to it.

    Question. When you water, do you water thoroughly or just a little? Once a week sounds good, but make sure you get water all the way through the soil when you do water
