Hi … I bought this beautiful Arum lily from Trader Joe’s in a very good condition but now suddenly leaves are drooping I.e bending down and few are curling inwards as well not sure why. I have kept it near the window and water it when the top soil gets dry probably after 3-5 days. Appreciate any help of info!! This is my first lily plant and I really want to save it now that spring is coming soon 😊
Every time we bring home a new plant, it gets a little worse before it gets used to its new surroundings… temperature, humidity, and light - a change in any of these will cause a reaction. I am pretty new to all this plant stuff, but I had the exact same situation as you (bought new plant [monstera] at TJ’s. When it got home and in its new spot, it wasn’t looking too hot for a couple of weeks. But I made sure it was getting LOTS of sunlight and the room he lives in is a bit more humid due to ventilation in our house. He is so happy now, I actually had to trim him down and propagated two more monsteras! One last thing that many people will call crazy, but look up the studies - it’s legit. Talk to your plants - say kind things. Love your plant. As wacky as it might sound, I have had insanely good luck with plants ever since I started doing it. Don’t knock it till you try it.
