My first ever begonia!! i’ve wanted a maculata for a long time and I saw this for $5 and couldn’t pass it up. it’s been growing nicely since i got it (look at that little baby pink leaf!) and i hope it can grow nice and big and climb for me! :)

Hi everyone! I recently found out about these “escargot” begonias and i fear i may simply pass away if I dont get one. Do any of yall know where i could find one? I only really have big box stores near me so will likely have to order online. Any tips for reputable stores?

I think I’m in my begonia era, ya’ll. Admittedly, I have struggled with this genus, both cane and rex (and I was close to saying neither are for me: they can kick rocks), but what a rewarding plant when you finally get it right! Now I’m on to propagating both types. If y'all have any advice, I'm open to it: I struggle with the whole “scoring the leaf” thing. I end up with mush.
