StormLoverQuestion... I can't get the handle with begonias... do you wait until they dry up? Do you keep moist? My home is dry though i have a humidifer in my living room where all the windows are (so it's much cooler there there at night). I have forced air is winter. AC in the summer... anything you can suggest? I dig seem to find the balance for begonias to thrive...

They do not like it dry generally. And a lot of sellers have them "terrarium acclimated" meaning they are used to high humidity. I have all of mine in terrariums or cabinets

Oh wow! 70-90% ??? Daaang! That's why they don't survive in my home... my home barely makes it to 40s... ugh, they are so beautiful! Oh I'll never be able to have one in this house then! 😢

Not all Rex begonias have to be in 70-90% humidity correct? I have some Rexes in 40-50% and they are doing ok. Doesn’t it depend on the Rex?

Which ones do u have? I've had Spitfire x 2 and both pffft! I had an Eyelash and pffft too! The oldest one is Red Kiss and every week it loses one crispy leaf. It's the only one that's survived this long and I think it's because it's in bathroom so life is being prolonged by the humidity, however, bathroom is small and we have forced air... I've had that one for probably 6 mos...
