Look at this stunning gal I snatched from a vendor fair last night! It says it’s an obsidian begonia. Any recs on care? I’m getting mixed directions here and online. I have her in a south facing window right now. Tyia!

That is what it looks like to me. It’s cane begonia, like a Maculata. Again, bright, indirect light. They like the soil moist but not wet. If you overwater, it may drop leaves. I had that happen with my maculata. I water it every seven days. So it might be the same with this one as well.

Excellent! You may also want to add some fertilizer to your water during the growing season. I use Jack’s Classic 20-20-20 which comes with a measuring scoop. 1/4 tsp to a gallon of water. I keep 2 gallon jugs in rotation. I let one sit with lid off to let chlorine dissipate so it ready when my current gallon is done. Just add the 1/4 tsp of Jack’s powder and mix with a stick and you’re good to go.
