My Tiger Paw Begonia is getting out of hand. It’s in a 10 inch planter and should be repotted into at least a 12 inch. I’m debating whether to buy a new planter or divide it up into several. I divided my Escargot about a year ago. All the divisions looked very sad for almost two weeks and then they bounced back. I guess the other choice is to leave it where it is. There are only a few canes on the edge of the planter. 🤷♂️ Any thoughts?
I found this 12 inch heavy plastic square planter in my planter stock. I would prefer terracotta but this may work.

1 j'aime Thank you! Always good to hear when my work pays off. I probably have different begonia care than many people. I use shallow terracotta planters when possible. I water when on the dry side. They are definitely not consistently moist. I use regular potting soil to which I add a good bit of grit, some charcoal, and worm castings. They are under Barrina grow lights 16 hours a day. Plus a room size humidifier keeping humidity in their corner at about 45 to 55%. I have 6 begonias with one in leca.
