I’m very new to gardening. Does anyone have any tips of growing asiatic lilies? I just planted their bulbs

Peat moss layer in flower bed?? Totally clueless about outdoor plants. I have extra peat moss from when we had to replant our grass. Would it be helpful or detrimental to put a layer of this in my flower bed before putting mulch down? I have Bobo hydrangea, peonies, lavender, Russian sage, sedum, alyssum, dianthus, forget me nots, weigelia, boxwoods

I’m trying to make a nice backyard and I’m hoping for some plant suggestions for bushes, greenery, flowers, anything. Here are my conditions: nothing that needs full sun, the highest temp is 40 degrees Celsius(that’s rare) and the lowest is -15 ish degrees C (that’s also very rare) and it’s usually between 5 degrees C and 28 degrees C. I am around zones 7-8. I know that’s a pretty big request but any plant ideas welcome, thanks in advance! ;)

Bought these Star Jasmin’s and they’re not looking too hot after transplanting. I bought these to start some privacy between neighbors but they’re looking sick. I water it weekly, gets about 4 hours of direct light in the am and then indirect. When I bought them in plastic pots I dug a hole as deep as the pot and double in diameter per the nursery’s instructions. Could it be that the plant is in shock or it’s just losing its leaves? Both of my Star jasmines that I bought maybe 3 weeks ago are doing this. Thanks!

I was catching up with my mom and her garden, and this variegated corabelle stopped me in my tracks. How gorgeous! I don’t have a garden myself, so my plant passion has been variegated house plants. I’m still jealous of some of the outdoor garden possibilities!

My spider plant did nothing indoors so I moved out to my deck where it gets some direct sun. It is sure happy.

Silly question. First year with a raised garden bed. How do I know when my pepper is complete?

I’ve got some new tomato and squash plants. The gardener I got them from said they have a hydrogen (if I remember correctly) deficiency. How do I help them??? They also said to pop off the flower.

I have this raised bed and it is hollow, what do I put at the bottom so that the grass and weeds won’t grow through it?

I don’t know how old my kalamansi/calamondin is. I bought it last year and it was 2 ft tall. It has grown quite a bit, but I trimmed it back earlier this year. I know it may be too soon, but I’m hoping for fruits. Will trimming off these new shoots harm, help, or neither in terms of promoting flowers?
