Just want to spotlight my Maravillas (4 o’clocks)! I am of Mexican heritage, so these being one of the first flowers domesticated in Mexico, I had to have em! I have a full patio full of them. Not only are they gorgeous they also smell wonderful. 🫶🏽

Does anyone have any tips on keeping squirrels out of your flowers? I’ve already tried sprinkling cayenne pepper in my plants, Irish spring soap pieces in them and around them. I’m NOT wanting to hurt the squirrels 🐿️ but I do want an effective way to keep them out and away from my plants :) lol I am desperate, I will take any advice I can get :) (we have a bird feeder and are scared that a fake owl is going to scare the birds off)

I found this growing in my garden. I tossed it into my fire-pit. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks in advanced.

So when my tomato plants were wee babes and only about 1 foot tall they shared a pot (I procrastinated repotting, I know). And one day we had horrible storms and they got knocked over. I’m assuming they had been on their side for pretty much my entire 8 hours of work, one of the plants was snapped almost completely in half & the other just started bending instead of staying straight. So I leaned them up against my bench while I waiting for my mom to prepare the big boy pot she was giving me for them. The snapped one was still green and perky even though it couldn’t stand on its own so I left it to see what would happen 🤷🏻‍♀️ About a week later I finally repot them and tied them to their own rods. I didn’t have much hope for Snappy because the site where she broke was pretty gnarly looking even though other than that she looked great. Other tomato was flowering at this point and even had a baby one. Another week after being repotted and Snappy blew my mind, she started flowering!! Still no tomatoes even though her sister has 3.5, but honestly I’m just surprised she’s even still alive and flowering now. So anyway, today Planta told me to pinch the little spurs in between branches and while doing so I noticed some little bumps on Snappy’s stem. In another post I saw that these were a good thing possibly but I recall it being a completely different plant. Whatever these are, are they okay? Also including a picture of Snappy’s snap site, it’s looking less zombie-like and more dry scab-like. (Don’t mind her dirty stem, it’s been raining A LOT the last few days and her soil splashed back at her). If you made it this far, thanks for being there for Snappy & her adventure 🖤😂🍅 Ps: there is a VERY recent mealy bug issue, so if you notice the evidence of that ignore it, I’m working on it 😅

We have these black prince tomatoes and we don’t know if this is bugs or just the fruit not good. We do put sevens dust in our plants thanks!!

Hello! I’m looking to find a new home for this magnolia tree. I’m unable to plant her in the ground at the place I’m renting. If you have the ability to pick her up that would be ideal. No charge. She’s about 5’8”, about 3 years old and needs good care! Please let me know if you or anyone else you know would like to have her.

Anyone have any idea what it going on with my raspberry bush? It was going really healthy and fruiting (which it still is). But the leaves have started yellowing and turning at the ends?

Anyone dabbling with straw bale gardening? I am new to it, but eager to learn more tricks and tips. The soil where I live is trash and I have had no luck with soil amendments or low raised beds. I have four bales with six tomato plants, one green chile plant, two cantaloupes, one zucchini, and a few bush beans. So far so good.

Good morning all, so this is my 1st basil plant ever but I have never seen these flowering shoots in others. I’m I suppose to trim them off because they just seem to dry up and fall. Greatly appreciate any advice & guidance. 🙏🏽

Anyone in the PNW have a way besides diatomaceous earth to get rid of pincher bugs aka earwigs? Last year I tried the oil traps and the diatomaceous earth and it didn’t work well.

Is there any way to save this tree? Inherited a seemingly dead tree, what can I do to revive it if anything?

I plant Purple Heart spiderwort in the ground here and it always comes back fuller and fuller each year. But this year I have a variegated off-shoot! How pretty is this?

Y’all can we talk about these butternut squash tendrils reaching out and wrapping themselves around anything in the nearest vicinity, which right now is my other plants? 🥴 I’m up here surgically untangling my plants. Anyone have any suggestions on how to keep this from happening?

I inherited a lemon and lime tree and they’ve been doing pretty well, I’ve been watering them every 2-3 days. I’ve noticed some of the leaves are curling up, what does this mean? Is it good or bad?
